Love is still in the air and although you can’t actually “see” this force of nature, you can EXPERIENCE the fruit of its’ labor. Earlier in the month we explored the insight provided from Buddha to his student. Another perspective on the perfect love can be found in the Bible, and many of us are familiar with the passage that describes the divine love that we each have the potential to give and receive. Of all the versus in the bible, if we took these to “heart” and made conscious effort daily to apply these to our thoughts, actions or words – imagine how that change would look and feel!
I Corinthians 4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. [ 1 ]
Walking in light has never been easy nor for the faint of heart, as “love” is full of laughter and tears! It has ups and downs and everything in between. All cultures have had beautiful messengers who came, taught, shared “the way” h(OM)e is through our heart . When we align our inner workings with divine love and seek guidance daily, an internal shift begins to take place. The love that we give to others returns to us in ways unimagined and amplified from our loving creative force. The bible calls upon God, Jesus, Jehovah and a few other names to represent the aspect of the creator they are giving thanks to, sending prayers upward etc…
No matter how you wrap it up, love is the only thing worth living for and once you experience divine love, you are forever changed. The responsibility to give LOVE back as the response for LIFE! Love begins within, and as we seek the connection with source we are drawn into the expansiveness of our ever changing and connected universe. Let “true” love reign supreme!
